Our Instructors
Peter initially trained as an Industrial Chemist before becoming a teacher of Practical and Fine Arts. He taught in London for four years before emigrating to Canada in 1969. Over the course of 33 years, he taught junior high, high school, and vocational programs in both London and Calgary. His specialties included industrial education, materials, photography, graphic arts, and fine arts.
Peter’s passion for teaching entrepreneurship inspired many of his students to pursue careers in the arts. During his time with the Calgary Board of Education, he was deeply involved in curriculum development across both practical and fine arts programs.
Peter is also a practicing artist and a juried member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. He continues to participate in various art shows and currently teaches art classes and workshops through the Sheep Creek Arts Council. He has also led workshops for the Chestermere Guild of Artists.
