Peter initially trained as an Industrial Chemist then as a teacher of Practical Arts and Fine Arts. He taught in London for 4 years before emigrating to Canada in 1969. His teaching in London, England, and Calgary included junior high, high school and vocational totalling 33 yrsin all. Industrial education, materials, photography, graphic arts, and fine arts were his areas of
specialty. His love of teaching for entrepreneurship influenced many of his students to pursue careers in the arts.
While teaching he was heavily involved in Curriculum Development in both practical and fine arts for the Calgary Boardof Education. Peter is also an exhibitor and a juried member of the Federation
of Canadian Artists.
He is currently involved with several art shows while instructing
art classes and workshops for the Sheep Creek Arts Council and
has instructed a workshop for the Chestermere Guild of Artists.
