Drawing and Painting with Dry Media - S1

Service Description

Come and fine tune your drawing skills through weekly lessons, activities and focused practice. Each lesson will target specific skills including; drawing accurately without using a grid, creating depth, finding a focal point, using photos and drawing from life… and more! Participants are encouraged to work in the dry medium of their choice (graphite/pencil, pencil crayon, pastels, charcoal, markers etc.) No class on October 12 (Thanksgiving) Materials required: Sketchbook (ideally acid free, 70lb+ paper), Pencils ranging from 2H to 6B, Erasers- white vinyl and a kneaded or putty eraser… or, coloured media of your choosing. Nice to have but not essential: Ruler, Protractor (the adjustable kind that looks like a compass), Charcoal pencils or vine charcoal, Fineline black marker (micron pen or sharpie).
