Service Description

Explore how to use alcohol inks to create a free flow abstract landscape, by starting with an interesting sky then adding land features and trees, or other foliage if desired. Also learn how to control the inks using brushes. Information will be provided on how to seal the pieces at home with a fixative spray and UV spray. Participants should bring: Various colours of alcohol inks including greens, browns, blues, yellows, pinks and purples, and black. Old detail brushes( #1 or #0) in good condition(I recommend avoiding using pricey new brushes because the alcohol will degrade them), plus a larger round watercolour brush(#11), and medium round brushes if you have them(#2), small container to hold alcohol for cleaning brushes, watercolour palette for holding and mixing inks, extra ceramic tile or synthetic paper such as Yupo, if desired, and a flat plastic container with some bubble wrap or foam to put between pieces to protect them from scratching until they can be sealed.
